1. Who We Are
RevNav, Inc. is a Delaware corporation operating from 3801 N Capital of Texas Hwy, Austin, TX 78746. We provide revenue intelligence and execution services to self-storage operators in the United States. You can reach our privacy team at hello@revenuenavigation.com.
2. Information We Collect
Information You Provide
- Contact and identification data — name, business name, title, email, phone, and mailing address you provide when you schedule a revenue review, sign an engagement letter, or correspond with us.
- Engagement data — information your business shares with us during an engagement, including operational data, property management system exports, advertising performance data, and pricing data.
- Payment data — billing information you provide to pay invoices. Card and bank details are collected and processed by our payment processor (Stripe), not stored on our servers.
Information We Collect Automatically
- Usage data — pages viewed, referring source, approximate location (derived from IP), browser, and device type, collected through standard server logs and privacy-respecting analytics.
- Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 11.
Information From Other Sources
With your authorization, we may receive information from third-party services your business uses, such as your property management system, advertising platforms (for example, Google Ads), pricing software, and financial institutions you connect through Stripe Financial Connections.
3. Financial Account Information and Stripe Financial Connections
RevNav uses Stripe as our payment processor and to facilitate Stripe Financial Connections, which lets you securely link a bank account so payments and reconciliation can be completed accurately.
What is collected
- Account holder name, account type, account and routing numbers (tokenized), institution name, and balances or transaction history you explicitly authorize at the time of connection.
- Authorization records confirming you consented to the connection.
How it is used
- Only for the purposes you authorized when you connected your account — for example, to verify the account, process ACH payments for our services, prevent fraud, and reconcile invoicing.
- We do not use Financial Connections data for marketing, do not sell it, and do not share it with third parties beyond the service providers strictly required to deliver the authorized service (Stripe and the financial institution).
Stripe as the data handler
When you link an account, Stripe collects, transmits, and stores the underlying credentials and account data directly. RevNav receives only the limited tokens and metadata needed to complete the authorized action. Stripe's handling of your data is governed by Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy and Stripe's End User Terms at stripe.com/legal/end-users.
Your control
You can disconnect a linked account at any time by contacting us at hello@revenuenavigation.com or through your Stripe account settings. Disconnecting will revoke our ongoing access to that account's data.
4. How We Use Information
We use information only for the following purposes:
- Deliver services — respond to inquiries, schedule revenue reviews, and provide the analysis, reporting, and execution services our clients have engaged us to perform.
- Process payments — bill for services, process ACH or card payments, and reconcile transactions.
- Operate and improve the Site — analyze usage, fix bugs, and improve content.
- Communicate — send service updates, respond to support requests, and (with your consent or where permitted by law) send relevant industry updates.
- Prevent fraud and abuse — protect our systems, our clients, and our business from misuse.
- Comply with law — meet legal, regulatory, tax, and accounting obligations.
We do not use your information for any purpose that is materially different from the purposes for which it was collected without first obtaining your consent.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share information only in the limited ways listed below:
- Service providers under contract who help us operate the business and are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations. These include:
- Stripe, Inc. — payment processing and Financial Connections.
- Cloud hosting and storage providers located in the United States.
- Email and scheduling tools (for example, Google Workspace) used to communicate with you.
- Analytics providers configured to use IP-truncated, U.S.-stored data.
- Authorities when required by valid legal process or to protect rights, property, or safety.
- Successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Privacy Policy.
- With your direction — for example, when you ask us to share a report with one of your vendors.
6. Data Storage and U.S. Location
RevNav stores personal and financial data on cloud infrastructure located in the United States. We do not store personal or financial data outside the United States. Our service providers used to handle this data are likewise configured to keep data in the U.S.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as is reasonably necessary to deliver our services, maintain business records, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Typical retention windows:
- Inquiry and lead data: up to 24 months from last contact, then deleted or anonymized.
- Client engagement records: for the duration of the engagement plus 7 years to meet tax, audit, and legal requirements.
- Payment and Financial Connections records: for the period required by applicable law and Stripe's processor requirements, typically 7 years.
- Site analytics: up to 26 months.
You may request earlier deletion as described in Section 9, subject to legal retention requirements.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information, including:
- Encryption of data in transit (TLS) and at rest where supported by the underlying service.
- Access controls limited to personnel who need the information to do their jobs.
- Multi-factor authentication on internal systems.
- Vendor due diligence on service providers handling personal data.
- Tokenization of payment and financial account details through Stripe so that raw account credentials never touch our servers.
No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
9. Your Choices and Rights
- Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate information.
- Deletion — ask us to delete personal information, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Marketing opt-out — unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any message, or email us.
- Financial Connections — revoke a linked bank account connection at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@revenuenavigation.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.
10. California, Virginia, Colorado, and Other State Privacy Rights
Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws have additional rights under those laws, including the rights described in Section 9 and the right to appeal a denied request. RevNav does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not process sensitive personal information for purposes that would require an opt-out under state law beyond what is necessary to deliver the services you have requested.
To exercise these rights or appeal a decision, contact hello@revenuenavigation.com. You may also designate an authorized agent to act on your behalf.
11. Cookies and Site Analytics
We use a minimal set of cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember preferences, and understand how the Site is used. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; the Site will continue to work, though some preferences may not persist.
We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where applicable.
12. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the "Effective date" at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use of the Site or our services after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
